Piero Albertario he focuses his activity on M&A transactions with particular focus in the banking sector, having assisted main Italian financial institutions in sophisticated corporate and commercial transactions such as mergers, partnership setups and dissolutions in the asset management, securities services and bancassurance sectors. He advises listed companies and financial institutions on corporate governance and regulatory issues. He started his career in 1995 at Pedersoli e Associati Studio Legale where he was equity partner from 2005 until February 2014. He graduated in law, magna cum laude, at the University of Milan and obtained a post-graduate degree in Law and Economics of the European Union. From 2000 to 2001 he spent a period as Visiting Foreign Lawyer at the Corporate Finance department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, New York office. Admitted to the Italian Bar Association since 1999. He speaks Italian, English and French.
