Jaime Bragado joined Garrigues on 1999 and was made partner in 2011. He is specialist in company/commercial and financial law. Advises financial institutions, private equity entities, industry groups and issuers of debt negotiated on listed markets. Banks and savings banks, private equity entities and mergers and acquisitions. Among his recent work he has been engaged by different groups for the reorganization of different financial entities as a consequence of the change and restructuring of the Spanish financial sector. He has been working on a regular basis for major multinational groups present in Spain which are part of the Fortune 500 and FT 500. He is an expert in international M&A and corporate reorganization transactions with a banking and regulatory component in them. He has also extensive experience in international issues of bonds by Spanish issuers and non-Spanish issuers both as advisor of the issuer or the arrangers and underwriters of such issues of bonds. He is a member of the Garrigues’ “Banks and Savings Banks†and “Private Equity†multidisciplinary groups taking part in numerous seminars and industry analysis made to companies of such sectors. He has been consecutively designated as one of Spain’s standout corporate banking and M&A lawyers in the Best Lawyers publication. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
