Iñigo Bastarreche is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Law Department of Garrigues, where he has pursued his professional career since joining the firm in 1988. He specializes in corporate law and commercial contracts, specifically in providing advice to companies on issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, general commercial contracts, corporate law and due diligence reviews. He has participated in purchase and sale transactions at both domestic and international level as well as in business reorganizations. He has also provided advice on stock market flotations of Spanish companies from a contract/commercial standpoint in connection with the drafting of the appropriate prospectuses. Iñigo’s professional activities are primarily focused on providing contract/commercial advice to companies belonging to multinational groups established in Spain. He also acts as Secretary or is responsible for the secretariat’s functions at numerous companies. Iñigo Bastarreche is a member of Madrid Bar Association. Furthermore, he assists the firm’s Human Resources Department with lawyer recruitment campaigns. He has delivered courses on contract/commercial law (general contract law matters and due diligence reviews) at Asociación para el Progreso de la Dirección (APD) and IFAES.
