Miguel de Avillez Pereira is a partner of Corporate/Commercial, Mergers and acquisitions and Restructuring at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, commercial, insolvency and restructuring. He is also an expert in the corporate and commercial legislation of Angola and Mozambique. He holds a degree in Law from Universidade de Lisboa and an LL.M. – Masters of Law Degree from the University of Edinburgh. Miguel is recognised in the prestigious legal directories such as Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 as one of the leading professionals in the areas of Commercial, Corporate and M&A, Insolvency and Restructuring, Angola and Mozambique (foreign firms). In addition, the publication Who’s Who Legal has recognised him in the area of Insolvency and Restructuring. He has participated as author and co-author in several specialised legal publications.
