Guillermo Guerra Martín is a Corporate M&A partner, co-head of Capital Markets and head of Corporate Governance at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. He specialises in corporate governance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has experience in the implementation of sustainability programs for companies and investment funds, as well as in the issuance of green bonds. He holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the Department of Private Law. He was Visiting Researcher and Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School and Ricercatore Straniero at the University of Bologna. Guillermo is recognised in the legal directories such as Chambers & Partners and Legal500 as one of the leading professionals in the areas of Corporate/M&A and Capital Markets: Debt and Equity. He is the author of several books and numerous articles in legal journals and collective works on corporate governance, company law and securities market law. He is also a lecturer at several Spanish and foreign universities (Harvard University, University of William & Mary -USA-, University of Paris 12 -France-).
