Nigel Gordon’s practice focuses on capital markets and a combination of capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. Nigel also regularly represents entrepreneurial growing companies, both public and private, and has been actively involved in the AIM Market since its inception in 1995. Nigel represents clients across industries ranging from casinos to mining companies, but he has particular experience in the natural resources, life sciences, property and financial services sectors. Nigel has lectured on the practical requirements on bringing natural resources companies to market and on corporate governance issues. He has extensive experience in court-based corporate procedures such as schemes of arrangement and share capital reductions in order to achieve the business objectives of clients. Nigel works extensively with clients with assets in Africa. He has particular experience of advising on transactions involving Canadian capital markets, including dual listings. Nigel is listed by the Chambers directory as a notable practitioner in the Energy and Natural Resources sector and in the UK capital markets sector.
