Christopher Mozingo focuses his practice on corporate and business law, with a concentration in mergers and acquisitions and venture capital and growth equity investments/transactions. Mr. Mozingo has extensive experience in M&A on both the buy-side and sell-side, venture capital and growth equity financings, private equity investments and co-investments in both public and private companies, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts and leveraged dividends. Mr. Mozingo also regularly advises clients on general corporate matters, including state and federal securities law compliance, and regularly represents fund clients and "independent sponsor" clients in fundraising and other private offerings. Mr. Mozingo represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in related matters, including add-on acquisitions, dispositions, general business matters and corporate governance matters, including advising Boards of Directors. Fund clients that Chris has represented include Capital Partners, Gridiron Capital, L Catterton, Oak HC/FT Partners, RFE Investment Partners, Saugatuck Capital Company, and Southfield Capital. Mr. Mozingo's clients operate in a wide variety of industries, including consumer products, media and marketing/communications, healthcare, financial technology and financial services, restaurant and food and beverage, automotive, data analytics, aerospace and defense, manufacturing, and biotechnology.
