My particular expertise is advising clients in energy and infrastructure transactions. Furthermore, I regularly deal with M&A, private equity, venture capital and real estate transactions. Predominantly, I work on international, cross border transactions. I advise in all aspects of corporate and energy law, with a specific focus on the renewable energy sector, where I already have been involved in 1,700 MW of solar and wind projects in Europe and internationally. Amongst my clients are domestic and international investors, financial institutions, companies and private clients. My work ranges from advising a financial investor with its sale of an offshore wind farm, to the acquisition of solar farms in an insolvency situation in Italy to general corporate, litigation and commercial advice to various midsize companies. I regularly publish on corporate and energy law issues. I am the author of the Heidelberger contract templates for partnerships and have dealt with the regulatory framework for geothermal projects in Germany in the book “Geothermal projects– Deep geothermal installations”. In 2014 I was awarded the "Deal Maker of the Year Award" from FinanceMonthly. Furthermore, I received the Client Choice Award for Energy & Natural Resources Germany in 2015. Before joining Fieldfisher, I was a corporate and energy lawyer at an international law firm for seven years and worked for three years for a US law firm in Munich and New York.
