Bio

Steve Reinhard is a North Carolina State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law: Business, Commercial and Industrial Transactions. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate, wireless telecommunications, and general business practice. Since August 2006, Mr. Reinhard has been re-engaged in the private practice of law, representing clients in the Research Triangle area and nationally. In addition, from June 2007 through December 2010, he served, on a part-time basis, as general counsel of Shared Access, LLC, a wireless infrastructure company focused on providing wireless siting opportunities to telecommunications operators in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Prior to August 2006, Mr. Reinhard was Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Cary, North Carolina-based SpectraSite Communications, Inc., and after its merger with American Tower Corporation in 2006, was Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel of American Tower, then the second largest wireless tower company in the United States. At SpectraSite, Mr. Reinhard was the chief operational attorney for its United States activities, leading a department of nine attorneys and paraprofessionals, and in particular, was responsible for the legal affairs of SpectraSite’s in-building wireless infrastructure program. With Mr. Reinhard’s legal assistance, SpectraSite’s in-building initiative went from a start-up division to become the largest third party provider of indoor wireless coverage in the United States. At American Tower, he had responsibility for overseeing American Tower’s United States’ wireless operations, both with respect to wireless towers, in-building systems, and rooftop management and led a department of 10 attorneys and paraprofessionals. Prior to joining SpectraSite, Mr. Reinhard was in private practice in Raleigh, North Carolina, specializing in commercial real estate law and general business with a transactional emphasis.
