Anant Garg has over 14 years of experience in the field of litigation and he specialises in Dispute Resolution. He regularly appears before various Courts/Tribunals/Forums all over India. He has conducted various trials by his own including drafting of pleadings, cross-examination and arguments. He focuses on contractual and commercial disputes, suits, writ petitions, arbitration matters (domestic as well as international), company matters, In addition, he also advises and acts for clients in mergers & acquisitions proceedings, Regulatory issues and proceedings. He has expertise in stamp duty matters arising out of merger orders and issuance of shares and has represented number of real estate companies, Pharmaceutical Company, auto mobile company in such proceedings relating thereto. He has experience in handling both ad-hoc and institutional commercial arbitrations including those conducted under Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. As far as construction and project-related arbitrations are concerned, Anant has acted as counsel for foreign entities including reputed infrastructure companies. He was part of central vigilance committee appointed by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in respect of public distribution system in India. In addition to his engagements in a number of Construction & Infrastructure arbitrations, Anant’s expertise is widely sought in matters of interim reliefs, emergency reliefs and related court proceedings. His recent experience in such matters includes acting for leading national and multi-national companies in construction arbitrations before tribunals seated in various parts of India. He is also leading a representation of such clients before the Supreme Court, the Bombay High Court as well as the Hyderabad High Court in allied proceedings. Anant has represented individual clients in family disputes including matrimonial proceedings. He has also represented Fintech companies before ED and other forums.
