and access,
Lisa Magnacca brings a decade’s worth of experience in real estate development and management to her legal career. Prior to attending to law school, she worked for a prominent real estate management company headquartered in Maine, where her responsibilities included supervising and maintaining regulatory compliance for an extensive portfolio of multifamily affordable housing projects. Her intimate understanding of the day-in, day-out business realities faced by real estate business professionals informs her approach to her legal practice. Lisa’s practice in the firm’s Business Services Group focuses primarily on corporate and real estate matters. She represents individuals, businesses, and Indian tribes on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions, including business formation, lending transactions, commercial contracts, and business acquisitions and sales. In her real estate practice, Lisa represents clients, including developers, condominium associations, landlords and municipalities, in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and sale of commercial and residential real estate. She also represents clients in the areas of affordable housing development and management, including compliance and fair housing issues. While attending Maine Law, Lisa served as a judicial extern with Judge Kermit V. Lipez of the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and as an extern with the Appellate Division of the U.S. Attorney’s office in Portland.
