Akila Agrawal has over 20 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, general corporate and employment law. She has extensively handled acquisitions, disposals, takeover offers, delisting offers, commercial contracts and SEBI related matters. Akila has considerable national and international experience, having served several significant clients across a broad range of industries and sectors. She is a frequent contributor to professional journals, such as India Business Law Journal and In-House Lawyer. She is also a commentator on legal issues in leading publications and newspapers such as Business Standard and The Economic Times. Akila is also regularly invited to speak at workshops and conferences. Akila joined erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co.’s Delhi office in April 2002 and continued with Shardul Amarchand thereafter, prior to joining the Firm. She has also worked with Wipro Limited, Bangalore, as an in-house counsel.
