Bio

Pri­or to join­ing Cresco in August 2015, Olivi­er was an asso­ciate in the cor­po­rate-finance depart­ment of Nau­taDu­tilh (2011−2015) and CMS De Backer (2009 — 2011). Olivi­er has worked on projects in Lux­em­bourg and been sec­ond­ed to clients to sup­port their legal depart­ment on spe­cif­ic projects and transactions. Olivi­er received his law degree from the Katholieke Uni­ver­siteit Leu­ven (KUL) in 2008. Dur­ing his stud­ies, he spent a semes­ter at the Nation­al Uni­ver­si­ty of Sin­ga­pore (NUS). He holds a Mas­ter of Busi­ness Law from the Uni­ver­sité libre de Brux­elles (2009) and a Mas­ter of Com­pa­ny Law from Hogeschool-Uni­ver­siteit Brus­sel (2013). Olivi­er was admit­ted to the Bar in 2009 and speaks Dutch, French and Eng­lish fluently.Olivi­er Van Raem­don­ck is an expe­ri­enced busi­ness lawyer with exten­sive expe­ri­ence in cor­po­rate, com­mer­cial and intel­lec­tu­al prop­er­ty mat­ters, main­ly in the tech­nol­o­gy sector. Olivi­er advis­es both nation­al and inter­na­tion­al clients in merg­ers and acqui­si­tions, cor­po­rate restruc­tur­ing and ven­ture cap­i­tal trans­ac­tions with­in the IT indus­try. Fur­ther, Olivi­er has over the years assist­ed both cor­po­rates and emerg­ing tech­nol­o­gy ven­tures in com­plex trans­ac­tions involv­ing the struc­tur­ing and nego­ti­a­tion of strate­gic (cor­po­rate) part­ner­ships and con­sor­tia with a pur­pose of safe­guard­ing and max­i­miz­ing val­ue of assets, includ­ing but not lim­it­ed to intel­lec­tu­al prop­er­ty rights. Final­ly, Olivi­er has over the years gained expe­ri­ence in a vari­ety of com­mer­cial mat­ters and con­tracts, required to assist clients in the day-to-day roll out of their activities.
