J. J. Cranmore represents financial institutions in a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and significant supervisory issues, governance, reorganizations, and fiduciary activities. He has over 35 years of experience representing the legal needs of financial institutions, and his work in Financial Services Regulation Law helped the firm achieve Tier 1 status in the U.S. News & World Report rankings. Prior to founding Cranmore, FitzGerald & Meaney, Jody served as counsel to the Office of the Comptroller of Currency in Washington, DC and New York, NY. He has authored a variety of books and articles relating to his practice, as well as co-authoring multiple editions of Banking Law, a comprehensive treatise published by Matthew Bender. Jody has also spoken at numerous conferences and seminars about solutions to the issues facing financial institutions.
