Bio

Ben Donovan is a U.S.- and English-qualified partner in the firm's Project Development and Finance practice group. He has a broad transactional practice. In particular, Ben’s practice focuses on project development and finance, where he has represented oil and gas companies, government and parastatal entities, independent power producers, investment funds and lenders in the development, acquisition, financing, restructuring and divestiture of projects in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, with a particular emphasis on projects in Africa, Turkey, Central Asia, and the Middle East. He has extensive experience in the development and financing of projects in the upstream and midstream oil and gas, power and petrochemicals industry sectors, and he also has significant mergers and acquisitions experience in the power and upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas industry sectors.
