Richard Denmon practices in the areas of securities regulation and transactions; private equity and venture capital; mergers, acquisitions, and extraordinary corporate transactions; and corporate governance and general corporate law. His clients include public and private entities operating in a wide range of industries. He has experience representing financial institutions in regulatory and transactional matters, advising boards of directors of troubled financial institutions, representing insurance companies in securities offerings, and preparing REIT public offerings and private real estate limited partnership offerings. Before joining the firm in 1989, Mr. Denmon worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. where he served as Special Counsel to the Assistant Director in the Division of Corporate Finance.
