Jeremy practices in the firm’s Food and Alcoholic Beverage Group with an emphasis on business formation, raising capital, alcoholic beverage compliance, contracts, trademarks, and the purchase and sale of related companies. In his work, he counsels various food, beer, wine, cider, and spirits companies, developing plans for growth, re-organization, and purchase and acquisition of other organizations. Jeremy has helped both start-ups and seasoned companies navigate the regulations imposed by the ABC, TTB, raised capital to start operations or increases in production and sales, and other state and federal bureaucracies. Prior to joining CMPR, Jeremy practiced law in Sonoma County for 3 years, and before pursuing his career in law, taught high school for eight years. He also taught sea kayaking, leading guided tours in Southern Maine. As an amateur winemaker, Jeremy has a keen awareness of the happenings in the wine industry, and of all processes involved. He has a balanced appreciation for Sonoma County and all things New England. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and his boys Thatcher and Beckett.
