Jan Etwell specialises in banking and finance, commercial and company law. She has particular experience in regulatory compliance including financial markets and conduct, financial advisers, personal property securities, anti-money laundering and credit contracts legislation. Her experience includes acting as instructing solicitor and providing credit recovery advice to New Zealand and overseas banks and financial institutions and acting for corporates on a wide range of commercial transactions. She also has experience acting on residential and commercial property transactions. Her clients include most of the major banks, finance companies, local authorities and private sector companies.
