Bio

Jon is a member of Brown & Fortunato’s Corporate Group. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Jon serves both public and private clients in a variety of business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, venture capital, entity formation, and corporate governance. Jon was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a concentration in real estate, from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. Thereafter, he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law and graduated with honors in 2015. While in law school, Jon was a Second Century Scholarship recipient and a member of Phi Delta Phi honor society. Jon’s success has led to his selection by Thomson Reuters as a Texas Rising Star for 2020. Jon enjoys playing basketball, running, hiking, sporting clays, following Texas Longhorn athletics, and spending time with his family.
