John Hinders joined Brown & Fortunato as a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Amarillo Area Bar Association, and the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association. Prior to joining Brown & Fortunato, John spent six years practicing law as a civil litigator with a focus on commercial litigation, including contract review and dispute resolution, creditor’s rights, and bankruptcy. John grew up in the Texas Panhandle and graduated from Amarillo High School in 2007. He graduated from the University of Texas in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and went on to attend the University of Texas School of Law. While in law school, John was a member of the American Journal of Criminal Law and the Texas Law Students for Reproductive Justice. John graduated with honors in 2014. John is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association and is actively involved as a volunteer with the Texas Ramp Project, helping build wheelchair ramps for senior citizens and mobility-impaired residents of the Texas Panhandle. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife, reading, and learning new skills.
