Haniya Mir is a transactional lawyer, representing businesses of all sizes on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate governance, entity formation, and equity and debt financing. Haniya works closely with clients to provide thorough, timely counsel through a host of complex corporate transactions. Haniya represents clients in a variety of M&A transactions, including mergers, stock purchases and sales, asset purchases and sales, spin-offs and recapitalizations. She has worked on public and private transactions, representing both acquirer and target companies, as well as private equity firms. She advises on all aspects of merger, acquisition, and disposition transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating definitive agreements, closing and post-closing advice, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
