Kate Romain, Partner, is a member of the Corporate team. She specialises in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and handles matters involving both - privately and publicly - held companies. Her practice also includes advising clients of all nationalities in connection with their minority investments, strategic alliances and joint ventures. She deals with issues arising under US and French laws related to such transactions. Kate is a lecturer at Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne on cross-border M&A topics. Born in the United States, she was admitted to the Paris Bar (2004) and the State Bar of Texas (1991) and is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law (Juris Doctor, 1991).
