Tony Harper is a Partner in our Corporate team. Tony is a very experienced corporate lawyer who specialises in banking and finance as well as corporate and commercial transactions. He handles issues such as mergers, acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, MBIs, joint ventures, restructuring, loan finance and bank lending on behalf of a variety of clients including businesses and trusts. He also advises registered providers on corporate governance and finance issues. Tony focuses on assisting entrepreneurs and management teams realise their commercial objectives through common understanding, communication, prioritisation and committed execution. He is the Chairman of Eurolegal, which is a network of independent European law firms. He is classed as a ‘Leading Individual’ and a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 which describes his “corporate legal experience, strategic direction and pragmatism” as “second to none”. Tony’s clients include the Royal Bank of Scotland, Typhoo Tea Ltd and Vista Engineering. Tony joined us in 1981. He is based in our Manchester office.
