Mark Whiteside is an experienced corporate tax lawyer who also specialises in VAT and property tax matters. He advises clients on a wide range of property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases, joint ventures and development projects. He also offers strategic tax advice in relation to mergers, acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations. Mark has a strong track record in tax advisory matters and has practised for over a decade. He worked in this field at KPMG (one of the ‘Big 4’ accountancy firms) before joining us. He is a member of the Chartered Institution of Taxation and he is classed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 which describes Mark as “detail-orientated”. Mark’s clients include Crosslane, JW Lees, Peel Land and Property as well as Primark. Mark joined us in 2015 and he works across our Manchester, Liverpool and Preston offices.
