Murray King has particular experience in acquisition financing and a well-established securitisation practice. Murray advises some of New Zealand’s leading corporates on their funding requirements as well as acting for a number of leading financial institutions such as ANZ Bank New Zealand, Bank of New Zealand, Citibank and Goldman Sachs.​ Murray is recognised as one of New Zealand’s leading securitisation lawyers and advises on both wholesale funding structures and regulatory issues at the consumer level. The IFLR1000 2022 ranks Murray as a highly regarded lawyer for Banking. The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021 ranks him in the 'Hall of Fame' for banking and finance.
