After having worked for four years for the tax authorities (in particular the DGI’s Central litigation department), Xavier Rohmer began his career as an attorney at Baker McKenzie (Paris).He then led the International South European Desk of Coopers & Lybrand in London for two years and returned to Paris to join the Corporate Finance and TS department of Coopers & Lybrand Legal and Tax (Landwell & Associés since 1999).He became partner in 1997, then co-manager of the M&A department at Landwell & Associés (ex-PricewaterhouseCoopers' correspondent firm) and member of the executive committee in March 2004. He joined August Debouzy in March 2005 as partner in charge of the Tax department. Xavier is also very active in private equity and restructuring transactions. Xavier advises investment funds and large groups, in particular CAC 40 groups. He also advises on restructurings and capital development (fund raising), assets structuring, packages in particular for managers (capital gains, wealth tax, stock options, etc.,) as well as placing his tax litigation expertise at the service of companies and individuals.
