Chris’ practice covers planning and environmental law. He has particular expertise in the housing and renewable energy sectors. He is ranked in the most recent edition of Chambers and Partners where he is described as "an exceptionally good black-letter lawyer" with "a forensic mind when it comes to problem solving." Chris’ experience is not limited to planning and environmental law. He also advises on compulsory purchase and compensation matters, judicial reviews and statutory appeals to the Court of Session, and roads law. Chris’ professional and responsive approach is built on more than a decade of experience providing thoughtful and commercially aware advice to a diverse range of clients. Away from the office, Chris is kept busy by his young daughter and passion for road cycling.
