A founding partner at Almain, Thomas is involved primarily with commercial, competition and consumer contracts, for both French and international companies. He supports Almain clients in structuring their commercial relations and creating selective distribution, exclusive and franchise networks. He analyses the potential impact of European competition laws on their activity as well as M&A transactions. He advises clients regarding applicable regulations in consumer protection and marketing law. Thomas also practices litigation proceedings and dispute resolution. He assists the firm's clients in conflicts arising from commercial relations as well as liability for defective products and unfair competition. In addition, he supports his French clients in US discovery proceedings. Beside this main area of practice, Thomas also works with international successions. He advises private individuals domiciled in France and abroad, as well as foundations and private banks in succession planning and settling disputes between heirs. Thomas joined Gide Loyrette Nouel in 2002 and then left in 2015 to found Almain. He holds a Postgraduate degree in Public law from the University Robert Schuman in Strasbourg. Thomas speaks French, Danish and English.
