A Partner with Almain, Rita practices in all the fields of economic law. Rita has developed a strong practice in competition law. She intervenes on cases of cartel and abuse of dominant positions in front of French and European competition jurisdictions and authorities. She also assists clients with respect to notification of concentration operations with the French Competition Authority (Autorité de la Concurrence) and the European Commission. Rita also acts for clients in commercial litigation (unfair competition, termination of commercial relationship) as well as in matters related to distribution, commercial contracts, consumption and advertising. She developed specific expertise with respect to the sectors of banking, luxury cosmetic products, wine and spirits, and electronic consumer products. Before joining Almain, Rita had practiced since 2009 at Gide Loyrette Nouel. Rita holds a Master degree in European and international business law from University Paris-Dauphine, as well as a Master in Accounting and Financial Techniques and Sciences (MSTCF) from Robert Schuman University in Strasburg. Rita is also a graduate of Leicester University (United Kingdom) and Autonoma University of Madrid (Spain). Rita speaks French, English, Lebanese and Spanish.
