Ryan Phillips Bio

Mr. Phillips joined WP Global Partners in 2009. He is actively involved in sourcing and investment diligence for private equity funds, secondaries, co-investments and portfolio management. Before joining WP Global Partners, Mr. Phillips was head of product management and due diligence for Alternative Investment Products at Envestnet Asset Management. There he developed and was responsible for Envestnet’s investment policy as well as the implementation of the firm’s investment management and alternative investment research. The strategies included hedge funds-of-funds, private equity fund-of-funds, and socially responsible investing. Mr. Phillips earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado, and earned an M.B.A. at UCLA Anderson School of Management. He currently serves on the Legislative Board for the Illinois Venture Capital Association (IVCA).
