Scott Brown Bio

Scott Brown Launched Volant Energy Partners in 2004 after spending the first half of his career in the Houston and New York offices of the oil & gas investment banking groups of Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers and Bank of America, and the hedge fund group of A. Gary Shilling & Co. His focus has always encompassed guiding and partnering with top oil & gas entrepreneurs in their pursuit of private and public capital and acquisitions for high-growth, early-stage companies. He has served as an executive, board member and advisor to a number of oil & gas related companies, as well as non-profit organizations seeking to transform the lives of at-risk youth and families. Mr. Brown has an MBA and a BBA in Honors Business and Finance from the University of Texas.
