Scott Hartman is a Partner and Global Co-Head of Corporate and Traded Credit. He serves as a portfolio manager of the firm’s global liquid investments and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Based in Minneapolis, he joined the firm in 2008. Prior to joining Värde, Scott was an Associate at ShoreView Industries, a Minneapolis-based private equity firm. He also previously worked as an Analyst in the Middle Market M&A group at Piper Jaffray. Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.B.A. in Finance, Operations and Management and he received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
