Ian Jolly Bio

Ian Jolly is a Partner and is primarily responsible for the firm’s forestry and farmland investments in Australasia and South America. He is based in Rotorua. Mr. Jolly has over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining TRG in December 2017, Mr. Jolly was the head of Southern Hemisphere Investments for GMO Renewable Resources (GMORR), which was acquired by TRG. Before joining GMORR in 2000, he was a senior consultant and director with Chandler Fraser Keating Ltd., a leading New Zealand based forest consultancy. Mr. Jolly earned his BSc in Forestry (honors) from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
