John is Managing Partner of The People Fund. He provides the investment capital, as well as executive oversight. Prior to founding The People Fund, John grew his beauty supply distribution business from $2mm in sales to over $200mm in sales, employing more than 1,000 people and providing products and services to 30,000 salons. In 2007, Maly’s-West was acquired by L’Oreal USA. Prior to Maly’s-West, John was an auditor for Deloitte & Touche. John holds a BA in Accounting from Indiana University.
