Salil Mehrotra Bio

Salil joined TCV in 2021 and focuses on fundraising and investor relations. Prior to joining TCV, Salil was a Vice President in the Alternative Investments and Manager Selection group at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he focused on primary investments in private equity managers with an emphasis on technology. He also brings experience investing in external managers across US and international public equity and public and private credit. In this role, he worked with institutional investors on external manager selection. He began his career in Equity Capital Markets at Wells Fargo Securities in New York. Salil grew up in Connecticut and is an avid traveler, a pursuit that aligns well with his enthusiasm around trying out new cuisines. He also enjoys reading about politics and foreign policy. Salil graduated with a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
