Jon Rauen Bio

Jon joined TCV in 2019 as Head of Capital Markets. In his role, he is responsible for leading TCV’s capital markets activities, supporting both new and existing investments and portfolio companies, as well as providing advice and support to the firm’s investment teams. Prior to joining TCV in 2019, Jon worked at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director in the Leveraged & Acquisition Finance Group working with technology companies on the structuring and origination of debt instruments. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Jon served as an officer in the US Navy, flying and instructing in H-60 Seahawk Helicopters globally. Jon grew up in the Cincinnati area and is an optimistic and long-suffering fan of Cincinnati sports teams. He enjoys running, golfing, swimming, and skiing as well as trying to keep up with his wife and three young sons. Jon received an M.B.A from Columbia Business School and Haas School of Business at University of California Berkeley and graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
