Matthias Sander Bio

Mr. Sander is a member of our European investment team and a senior operating partner. Prior to joining Strategic Value Partners in 2022, Mr. Sander was an operating partner at Ares and BC Partners, a member of the management team at the Talis Group and worked as a consultant at Booz & Co and Roland Berger, mostly in PE value creation, restructuring and post-merger integration. Mr. Sander holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a degree in Management from the Leipzig Graduate School of Business. He currently serves on the board of Vita.
