Scott Hart Bio

Mr. Hart is the CEO of StepStone Group. He also leads StepStone’s global private equity activities, focusing on co-investments. Mr. Hart is also involved in the Firm’s diversity and inclusion initiative and is a member of the board of directors. Prior to joining StepStone in 2007, Mr. Hart worked at TPG Capital, a leading global private equity firm, where he focused on the energy, consumer, and retail sectors. Before that he worked at Morgan Stanley in the consumer and retail group within the investment banking division. Mr. Hart graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
