Samar Abbas Bio

Ms. Abbas is a member of the private equity team, focusing on middle and large-market buyouts and distressed investments. Prior to StepStone, Ms. Abbas was a private equity investment manager with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, a sovereign wealth fund. Before that she worked for Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, where she supported front-office investment activities. Ms. Abbas received her BCom from McGill University and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
