Christopher Ancona Bio

Mr. Ancona is a member of the legal and compliance team. Prior to StepStone, Mr. Ancona was the chief compliance officer and counsel of Greenspring Associates, a venture capital and growth equity investment firm that merged with StepStone in 2021. Before that, he worked in the assurance and business advisory services practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and as an examiner for the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Ancona received a BS in accounting from Syracuse University and a JD from Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Ancona is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed attorney.
