Porter Hall Bio

Porter joined SBJ in 2013 and has 10 years of experience in corporate finance and private equity. Porter leads the diligence, execution, and management of SBJ’s investments. Prior to joining SBJ, Porter spent five years at JPMorgan Chase, most recently as an Assistant Vice President in the firm’s commercial banking group. Porter graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Finance from Miami University (Ohio) and received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Porter moved to the Bay Area from Chicago in 2012 and currently lives in Berkeley with his wife, son, daughter and their bulldog Stan. Prior to having kids, he enjoyed running, CrossFit workouts, golf, and all things Ohio sports.
