Clay Presley joined the SouthWorth team in 2016. Prior to SouthWorth, Clay spent 7 years directing the marketing operations for City Gear, a footwear and apparel retailer. In his role at City Gear, Clay was responsible for developing and executing all of City Gear’s traditional, digital, and in-store marketing plans. During his tenure, Clay helped the company grow from 45 stores to 125 stores while overseeing the successful integration of 3 acquisitions and launching their e-commerce platform. Since joining SouthWorth, one of Clay’s primary roles has been to manage the Vero investment leading the management team and a successful refinance that increased debt capacity by 50%. Clay received a B.S. and MBA from the University of Memphis.
