Stephen Diverio Bio

Steve is responsible for identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, leading transaction due diligence and execution, and working with portfolio company management teams to execute growth strategies. Prior to joining Southfield in 2015, he spent five years with MCG Capital Corporation, a publicly-traded business development company. While at MCG Capital, Steve was heavily involved in structuring, executing, and monitoring both debt and equity investments in lower middle-market businesses, as well as helping manage their SBIC operations. Steve holds a B.S.C. in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University.
