Maurice Shamash Bio

Maurice joined Souter Investments in November 2013 from Lloyds Banking Group where he focused on Private Equity fund investing and latterly on distressed debt workouts. Maurice previously worked for the actuarial consultants Hymans Robertson where he specialised in defined benefit pension schemes. Maurice is an Investment Director and is responsible for diligencing new investment opportunities, executing new transactions and working closely with investee companies. Maurice is also a Board Director and Observer on a number of portfolio companies. Maurice is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Physics in 2003.
