Jim Rossman Bio

Jim Rossman joined Silver Lake in 2018 as an Operating Partner. Previously, he was a Special Advisor at General Atlantic, where he aided diligence, investment decisioning, and portfolio value creation. Before joining General Atlantic in 2012, Jim served as President and Chief Operating Officer of AKQA where he was responsible for managing the firm’s global client relationships, overseeing service delivery, new business development, and firmwide resource management. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Operating Officer of Digitas, with responsibility for the firm’s strategic investment planning, resourcing, and operating activities. Prior to Digitas, Jim held various senior management roles at Young & Rubicam and its global digital agency, Wunderman. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he concentrated in Marketing and Strategy. He also sits on the board of public software company Magnite.
