Tom Wood Bio

Tom's experience includes investment banking, distressed debt and public equities. Prior to co-founding Sandton Capital, the majority of Tom’s investment experience was as a generalist with the middle market distressed debt fund of John Levin & Co.. Tom was also an investment analyst covering cyclical public equities for Viking Global and Calypso Capital. Prior to his capital investing experience, Tom was a vice president in the leverage finance group of Credit Suisse. At the start of his career, Tom was an investment banking analyst in the Global Energy Group of Merrill Lynch.
