Samuel Lissner Bio

Sam Lissner has more than a decade of private equity experience and leads Ridgewood’s ESG and Sustainability program. In addition to being Principal of Ridgewood Infrastructure, Sam is also a Managing Director and serves on the Investment Committee of Ridgewood Energy. Prior to joining Ridgewood, Mr. Lissner was Chief Analyst and Project Director at Kohl Partners, where he focused on investments in renewable power and energy efficiency infrastructure. During his master’s studies, Mr. Lissner worked at the Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Energy Information Administration. Mr. Lissner received his A.B. from Harvard University. He earned a M.S. focused on Energy and Environmental Policy from New York University and an MBA from Columbia University.
