Hunter Carpenter Bio

Mr. Carpenter is a Partner of RedBird Capital Partners, where he is responsible for RedBird’s Natural Resources and Industrial related investment activity. RedBird is active in seeking investment opportunities in the upstream, midstream and downstream areas of the energy value chain as well as the industrial complex. Mr. Carpenter leads these efforts out of RedBird’s Dallas office. Mr. Carpenter spent the majority of his career working for The Stephens Group, LLC, a private equity firm investing the capital of the Stephens family, one of America’s longest tenured private equity investors whose business activities began in 1933. During his tenure, Mr. Carpenter helped launch The Stephens Group as a stand-alone private equity firm, continuing the family’s long history of direct principal investing. Mr. Carpenter also serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee for the University’s endowment.
