Samantha Xiao Bio

Samantha co-leads the firm’s investments in the consumer & retail sector. She led or played an important role in the acquisition of the Greater China business of Mead Johnson, and in other investment deals including Zhaopin, Junlebao, iSoftstone, ByteDance, as well as the cross-border acquisition of Iovate Health Sciences. She currently serves on the boards of Junlebao Dairy Co., Ltd. and Zhaopin Ltd. Sam previously worked at China Development Bank’s International Business Department. Prior to joining CDB, she worked at Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division in Hong Kong. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University
