Jeffrey Meriggi Bio

Jeffrey Meriggi is a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Business Affairs & Legal Officer at Pretium, where he is responsible for the oversight of all legal and compliance functions related to the Firm. Mr. Meriggi provides counsel on a broad range of matters, including the formation and operation of funds, the structuring and financing of investments and other strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Pretium in 2014, Mr. Meriggi was a Vice President at Pine River Capital Management L.P., where he advised Pine River and Silver Bay Realty Trust, the first publicly traded single-family-rental company, on transactional matters. Prior to Pine River, Mr. Meriggi was an attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where he focused on real estate, private equity and corporate finance. Mr. Meriggi is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He received a BA in History from Washington & Lee University, where he graduated as the valedictorian, and a JD from Columbia Law School.
